The Boundaries Crossed cards worth grading are near-mint Full Art Ultra Rares, led by Skyla 149/149, White Kyurem EX 146, Bianca 147, Black Kyurem EX 145, Landorus EX 144 and Keldeo EX 142, plus the grade-sensitive Charizard 20/149 holo. Grading means paying a service such as PSA to authenticate, grade condition on a 1-10 scale and seal the card in a slab. Boundaries Crossed released November 7, 2012 as the seventh Black and White expansion with 153 cards. It introduced Black and White Kyurem, Keldeo, Landorus Therian and Meloetta.

What is the grading cutoff for this set?
Submit only near-mint cards worth at least $50-$75 raw. Focus on Full Arts, EXs, secret rares and Charizard.
The reason is simple math. PSA 10s that trade at two times raw or more can absorb fees and wait times. Low-population PSA 10s carry extra premiums.
Which Full Arts gain the most in PSA 10?
Skyla 149/149 Full Art is the strongest candidate. PokeInvest reports raw near $140 but PSA 10 near $4,569, with an August 2026 eBay PSA 10 sale at $7,000, in the Skyla price record. Landorus EX 144/149 Full Art also shows a large multiplier.
PriceCharting lists raw near $35 against PSA 9 near $204 and PSA 10 near $3,797, in the PriceCharting graded-price table. Keldeo EX 142/149 Full Art justifies grading in high grade. Completed PSA 10 sales fall in the hundreds of dollars, while listed asking prices reach much higher. Cardrake places the set's raw leaders among White Kyurem EX 146 near $300, Bianca 147 near $198, Black Kyurem EX 145 near $192 and Skyla 149 near $169.
Why does Charizard 20/149 reward top grade?
Charizard 20/149 holo is scarce in top grade. CardCodex reports 1,083 PSA-graded copies but only 81 PSA 10s, in the Charizard population page. The price gap is wide. Raw trades near $33, while PSA 9 reaches about $489 and PSA 10 about $1,966.
That spread makes centering and surface condition decisive. A pack-fresh look is not enough. Check corners under light, edges for whitening, centering front and back, and holo scratches. Send only copies that look like likely PSA 10s.
When should you keep the card raw?
Do not grade played EXs, commons or likely PSA 7-9 cards. They usually lose money after fees and shipping.
PSA Regular service costs about $60 per card with 90-100 business-day waits. That cost quickly erases a small grade bump.
- Send only near-mint Full Arts, EXs, secret rares or Charizard
- Pre-screen centering, corners, edges and surface
- Keep cards raw when PSA 10 looks unlikely
- Compare recent PSA 9 and PSA 10 sales before submitting
