California Privacy Notice (CCPA)

Your rights as a California resident under the CCPA and CPRA, and how to exercise them.

This notice applies to California residents and explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Categories of Information We Collect

  • Identifiers — IP address, online identifiers, or email if you contact us.
  • Internet or network activity — browsing history on our site, referral pages, search terms.
  • Geolocation data — approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Inferences — preferences and interests inferred from the information above.

2. Sources of Information

  • Directly from you, when you contact us, comment, or subscribe.
  • Automatically, through cookies and analytics tools as you use the site.
  • From third parties, such as advertising and analytics providers.

3. Purposes for Collection

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the site
  • To respond to your inquiries
  • To deliver and measure advertising
  • To analyze traffic and detect abuse
  • To comply with law

4. Sharing and "Sale" of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. However, under the CCPA the term "sale" can include sharing personal information with third-party advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. To the extent any of our advertising or analytics activity counts as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law, you have the right to opt out.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

  • Right to know — categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
  • Right to delete — deletion of personal information we have collected from you.
  • Right to correct — correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing — direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

6. How to Exercise Your Rights

You can submit a verifiable consumer request through our contact page. We will need to verify your identity before responding. Generally we will respond within 45 days.

Opting out of advertising: we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal on supported browsers, and you can also opt out via the links in our Privacy Policy.

7. Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof that the agent is authorized.

8. Minors

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 without affirmative opt-in consent.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this CCPA notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
