Compare Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration sealed prices by release wave, not by box price alone. Different waves contain different pack counts and extras, so direct box-to-box comparisons mislead.
Sealed means unopened product sold as issued. The Pokémon Company International launched the 30th Celebration expansion on September 16, 2026. The date marks 30 years of Pokémon, according to the launch announcement.

What did Wave 1 include?
Wave 1 focused on the Elite Trainer Box. The Pokémon Company International says it contains nine Celebration booster packs, an illustration rare-style Nidorina promo, and gameplay accessories.
That mix sets the baseline for later comparisons. Count both packs and the promo before comparing it with smaller multipacks.
When do the other products release?
The anniversary lineup is staggered across Sept. 16, Oct. 2, Oct. 30, Nov. 6, and Dec. 4, 2026. Sports Illustrated Collectibles reports that stagger in the wave-by-wave schedule.
Wave 2 arrived Oct. 2 with a Booster Bundle and Mini Tins. Pokémon.com says the bundle holds six booster packs, while Mini Tins hold two packs plus a sticker sheet and art card. Later waves add Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks on Oct. 30 and Day and Night Ultra-Premium Collections on Nov. 6. Pokémon.com lists those products in its product galleries.
Why can't you compare box prices directly?
Do not judge Wave 1 by retail alone. The $49.99 Elite Trainer Box resold around $375, about seven times retail, according to Clownfish TV/Drezzed in the resale-price tracker.
A bigger box does not mean a better deal. Each Day and Night Ultra-Premium Collection holds 29 Celebration packs plus one Classic Collection pack, according to Pokémon.com in the Ultra-Premium Collection gallery.
How should you compare sealed value fairly?
Compare sealed value by contents, within the same wave first. Ignore chase-card hype when pricing sealed boxes. Backseat Gamer reports pre-release Mew buzz at $850-$1,400 fell below $100 after launch, so use pack contents and wave supply instead.
- Divide total price by booster-pack count.
- Add value only for promos and accessories you want.
- Compare items from the same wave first.
