Legendary Collection Charizard and Crystal Lugia PSA 10 Prices, October 2026

Three PSA 10 Legendary Collection reverse holo Charizards sold at Fanatics Collect in 12 days, and each brought less than the one before: $600,000 on October 11, $576,000 on October 18 and $468,000 in the October 23 Premier Auction, all including buyer’s premium. Over the same weeks the PSA 10 Aquapolis Crystal Lugia climbed from $336,000 to $360,000.

As of October 24, 2026: the latest Legendary Collection Charizard result is $132,000 below the October 11 high, a 22% drop (our arithmetic on Fanatics’ prices). It is still close to four times the $120,000 a PSA 10 fetched on Fanatics in June. Crystal Lugia’s $360,000 on October 18 ties, rather than beats, the card’s reported high.

The Legendary Collection Charizard sales, in order

The card is Charizard #3 from the 2002 Legendary Collection set in its reverse holo version, the one with the “fireworks” foil pattern across the card face. Fanatics Collect’s sold-items history for the PSA 10, read on October 24, gives this run:

Sale date Fanatics format PSA 10 price Premium included?
Nov 19, 2023 Auction $11,400 Yes
Apr 20, 2025 Auction $34,800 Yes
Sep 8, 2025 Buy Now $35,000 No premium on Buy Now
Jun 14, 2026 Auction $120,000 Yes
Oct 11, 2026 Weekly auction $600,000 Yes
Oct 18, 2026 Weekly auction $576,000 Yes
Oct 23, 2026 Premier Auction $468,000 Yes

The October 11 sale is the high point. ComicBook.com dated that record October 12, which looks like the usual late-night Eastern close being read in UTC; we use the date Fanatics shows.

The October 18 copy drew 30 bids, according to ComicBook.com, which also reported that PSA lists 86 Charizards of this version in Gem Mint 10. It finished $24,000 below the record. The Premier copy five days later ended $108,000 under the October 18 price.

What the other Legendary Collection reverse holos did

The Charizard was not alone. ComicBook.com reported that the October 18 Weekly sold three PSA 10 Legendary Collection reverse holos for a combined $1,344,000, with Mewtwo and Dark Dragonite tied at $384,000 each behind the Charizard, and noted that “All three prices include the buyer’s premium, and the trio attracted 73 bids between them.”

Two more results show how much money went into the set this autumn. Sports Illustrated’s weekly countdown reported a PSA 10 Legendary Collection reverse holo Pikachu at $780,000 through Fanatics Weekly on September 27, and a complete set of the 19 regular holos, all PSA 10, at $960,000 through the same platform on October 11.

So the slide in the Charizard is a slide from a very high base. The card that sold for $11,400 in late 2023 has not printed below six figures at Fanatics since June.

Crystal Lugia PSA 10: from $10,500 to $360,000

The Aquapolis Crystal Lugia #149, from the 2003 e-Reader era, has moved in steps rather than one leap. Fanatics’ history for the PSA 10:

Sale date Fanatics format PSA 10 price Premium included?
Dec 8, 2024 Auction $10,500 Yes
Oct 12, 2025 Auction $36,000 Yes
Apr 19, 2026 Auction $78,000 Yes
Apr 26, 2026 Auction $72,000 Yes
Jul 26, 2026 Auction $120,000 Yes
Aug 23, 2026 Auction $132,000 Yes
Aug 25, 2026 Buy Now $148,511 No premium on Buy Now
Oct 11, 2026 Weekly auction $336,000 Yes
Oct 18, 2026 Weekly auction $360,000 Yes

The October 18 result was $24,000 above the October 11 sale and $211,489 above the August Buy Now (our subtraction). ComicBook.com reported 45 bids on it and said PSA lists 138 Crystal Lugias in Gem Mint 10.

On whether it is a record: ComicBook.com described the $360,000 as matching a high set by another PSA 10 earlier in October. That earlier sale does not appear on Fanatics’ list and its venue was not named, so the fair description is a tie with a reported high, not a new record.

Why Legendary Collection Charizard and Crystal Lugia moved differently

Nobody publishes why a particular bidder stops, so the honest answer is that we do not know. What can be said from the public record:

  • More Charizards came to market close together. Three PSA 10 copies sold inside 12 days at one platform. Each auction draws on the same pool of buyers, and the October 23 copy was the third chance in under two weeks.
  • Crystal Lugia was reprinted in September. ComicBook.com noted that the card was among the classics reprinted in the 30th Celebration set. Original 2003 copies kept rising afterwards, so the reprint has not pulled the PSA 10 down so far.
  • Populations differ. PSA lists 86 PSA 10 Legendary Collection Charizards and 138 Crystal Lugias, both per ComicBook.com’s October reports. Neither count is small enough on its own to explain a six-figure price.

One sale is not a price for every copy. Fanatics also notes that unpaid sales are removed from its history, so a figure that disappears later was never completed.

What to watch

  • The next PSA 10 Charizard from Legendary Collection. Another result below $468,000 would extend the run of lower prices; one above would break it.
  • Population growth. Higher prices tend to pull more copies into grading. Our explainer on reading a population report shows how to check the count yourself.
  • Goldin’s 30th Anniversary Auction, whose lots begin closing on the night of October 25 (Eastern time). Our October 2026 roundup of high-value Pokémon card news tracks it alongside the Raincoat Pikachu and Mudkip sales in our Raincoat Pikachu report.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a PSA 10 Legendary Collection reverse holo Charizard worth?

Recent sales are the best guide: $600,000 on October 11, $576,000 on October 18 and $468,000 on October 23, 2026, all at Fanatics Collect with premium. A June 2026 copy sold for $120,000, so the range is wide.

Did the Legendary Collection Charizard set a record in October 2026?

The $600,000 sale on October 11 is the high in Fanatics’ history. The two later October sales were lower, so they were not records.

How many PSA 10 Legendary Collection reverse holo Charizards are there?

ComicBook.com reported in its October 18 auction write-up that PSA lists 86 in Gem Mint 10.

Did the Crystal Lugia PSA 10 sell for a record $360,000?

It tied a reported high. ComicBook.com said the October 18 sale matched a $360,000 result from earlier in October; it did not exceed it.

Did the 30th Celebration reprint lower Crystal Lugia prices?

Not so far. PSA 10 originals sold for $336,000 and $360,000 at Fanatics in October, after the September reprint, up from $132,000 at auction in August.
