Which Supreme Victors Pokemon Cards Are Worth Grading?

Pack-fresh Rayquaza C LV.X #146, Charizard G LV.X #143 and the other LV.X ultra rares are the clearest grading candidates from Supreme Victors. Centered copies of the secret legendary birds and the three shiny cards can also justify grading fees.

Supreme Victors is the third Platinum-series Pokemon TCG expansion, released August 19, 2009. Heritage Auctions lot descriptions note its focus on Generation IV Pokemon, Pokemon LV.X and Pokemon SP. CBR price-tracker data lists 153 cards, including seven LV.X ultra rares from Absol G #141 through Staraptor FB #147.

Why Rayquaza C LV.X leads the set

Rayquaza C LV.X #146 is the scarcest grade target in the set. According to PSA certification data, only 45 copies have earned GEM MT 10 with none graded higher, from about 1,608 total PSA submissions PSA certification verification.

Cardtrack's 2026 price guide puts Rayquaza C LV.X #146 near $243 ungraded against roughly $50,000 listed for PSA 10 Cardtrack price guide. Regular Rayquaza C #8 shows the same pattern at about $70 raw versus $22,800 in PSA 10, so only true gem copies capture the premium.

Is Charizard G LV.X still worth grading?

Charizard G LV.X #143 trades around $253 ungraded. PriceCharting sales history includes $5,500 for PSA 10 in December 2021 and $1,860 on PWCC in October 2023 PriceCharting sales history.

Prices move sharply between sales. A sharply centered, pack-fresh copy remains a grading candidate because mint examples still command a strong multiple. Off-center or edge-worn copies do not clear that bar.

Which other LV.X and bird cards qualify?

Absol G, Garchomp C, Staraptor FB and Electivire FB LV.X cards sit in the next tier. PokeInvest's September 2026 set list and Cardtrack place them near $50-$200 raw with four-figure PSA 10 prices. Pack-fresh copies drive that opportunity, not binder copies.

Secret cards Articuno #148, Moltres #149 and Zapdos #150 follow the same math. Holders of clean, sharp-cornered copies benefit most. Played copies rarely reach the grades that pay.

Do the shiny cards justify grading?

Shiny secrets Milotic SH7, Relicanth SH8 and Yanma SH9 command roughly $85-$196 raw and up to about $4,731 in PSA 10, per Cardtrack's 2026 price guide. That spread leaves room for profit on high-grade copies.

Centering and edge whitening decide the outcome. Submit only clean, well-centered copies with no whitening. Keep soft or off-center copies raw.

When should you keep a card raw?

Grading only pays under strict conditions, described in PokemonPriceTracker's February 2026 ROI guide. PSA 8 often adds little over raw after fees and months of waiting. Leave marginal copies ungraded and spend the fee on a stronger candidate.

  • Raw value above about $75-$100
  • PSA 10 worth at least twice raw
  • Realistic chance at PSA 9 or 10
