Which Legends Awakened Pokemon Cards Are Worth Grading?

The Legends Awakened cards worth grading are Mewtwo LV.X #144 and Gliscor LV.X #141, followed by the other five LV.X cards in true Gem Mint condition. LV.X cards are ultra-rare leveled-up versions of Pokemon that sit above normal holos in rarity and price. Diamond and Pearl Legends Awakened is a 146-card expansion released August 20, 2008. It reintroduced Technical Machines and closed Diamond and Pearl-era Pokemon.

Which LV.X cards form the top tier?

The set's premium tier is seven Rare Holo LV.X ultra-rares numbered 140-146. According to the Pokehive checklist, the group is Azelf, Gliscor, Magnezone, Mesprit, Mewtwo, Rhyperior and Uxie full Legends Awakened checklist.

Those seven carry the strongest grading demand because buyers pay for certified Gem Mint copies. Populations stay low because Diamond and Pearl-era holos are hard to preserve pack-fresh. Only centered copies with sharp corners and clean surfaces have a realistic chance.

Why do Mewtwo and Gliscor lead?

Mewtwo LV.X #144 is the primary target, with only 18 PSA Gem Mint 10 copies and a PSA estimate of $36,384-$41,285. That estimate followed eBay PSA 10 sales at $36,000 in May 2026 and $15,000 in January 2026, as shown in the PSA certification record.

Scarcity then repriced sharply when a PSA 10 Mewtwo sold for $264,000 at Fanatics auction in late August 2026, up about 633% in four months. In the same sale, reported by ComicBook, a PSA 10 Gliscor LV.X #141 sold for $90,000 through Fanatics Collect on Aug. 24, 2026 after 31 bids report on the LV.X auction.

Can regular holos pay off?

A few key holos can justify grading, but only as PSA 10 candidates. According to PriceCharting, Regigigas #15 lists at $11.97 ungraded versus $222.50 in PSA 10, while Gliscor Holo #5 lists at $11.96 versus $252.24 in PSA 10 current Legends Awakened prices.

That multiplier favors pack-fresh key holos over bulk. Azelf LV.X #140 shows why grade matters, with 106 PSA 9 copies and only 19 graded higher. For this set, Gem Mint is the value cutoff.

Should you submit your copy?

Submit only near-mint cards worth $75-$100 or more raw where PSA 10 pays at least twice the raw price. Check centering at 55/45 or better, sharp corners, clean edges, and a scratch-free holo surface.

Grading costs $25-$150 or more per card plus shipping, with 15-90 day turnarounds. Commons, played cards, and low-multiplier holos usually lose money after slabbing, so reject off-center or whitened copies before paying fees.

  • Raw value above $75-$100
