Why does Secret Alakazam lead?
Secret Rare Alakazam EX #125/124 is the top grading target in the set. According to PriceCharting, market data shows about $100 ungraded, about $582 graded and about $5,879-$6,500 in PSA 10 PriceCharting market data.
PSA cert verification reports a GEM MT 10 population of 789-791 with an estimate of $5,434-$5,492. PSA 10 is the highest possible grade for this card, so a clean copy has no grade ceiling left above it.
Is Umbreon the second priority?
Full Art Umbreon EX #119/124 is the second priority for most collectors. PriceCharting and CardCodex data show about $132-$144 raw, about $415 graded and about $4,338-$4,856 in PSA 10.
The gap between raw and PSA 10 is large enough to absorb grading costs. Only sharp corners, clean surfaces and strong centering preserve that margin.
Which other Ultra Rares can pay?
Other Full Arts carry lower but still strong PSA 10 estimates. PSA cert verification places M Alakazam EX #118 near $959-$965, Alakazam EX #117 near $886 and Glaceon EX #116 near $821-$823.
Regular Umbreon EX #55/124 can also work when truly mint. The PSA price guide lists $20 in 8, $40 in 9 and $150 in 10, while market data shows about $77 raw against about $1,471 in PSA 10 PSA price guide.
What should stay raw?
Most non-EX cards do not clear grading fees. PriceCharting data for the set shows N #105 near $2 raw against $148-$178 graded, and Delphox Holo #13 near $0.50 raw against about $16 graded.
Those graded prices look tempting until fees and shipping apply. Off-center, whitened or played copies lose money because buyers discount defects heavily.
How do you pick a copy to submit?
Submit only pack-fresh secret and full-art Alakazams, Umbreons and Glaceon with 55/45 centering or better. Eneba's 2026 grading guide places PSA Value tiers near $25-$65 plus $8 or more for shipping, plus about 13% in fees Eneba 2026 grading guide.
Measure centering first, then check corners and surface under bright light. Send only copies that pass all four checks.
- Raw value near $50-$80 or higher before submission
- PSA 10 value at least twice the raw price
- No edge wear, print lines or soft corners under light
- Centering 55/45 or better front and back
