No. The headline price on an imported Pokemon card listing does not include delivery or import charges.
Treat that number as goods-only unless the page expressly says duties and taxes are prepaid. Import charges are estimated duties and taxes added at checkout. Delivery is postage and handling charged on top of the card price.

How eBay splits the total
eBay shows the item price separately from postage and import fees. One UK bundle lists GBP 12.91 International Priority Shipping plus an estimated GBP 8.33 in import charges confirmed at checkout, according to eBay listing pages in that UK bundle example. eBay says its international shipping charge covers seller domestic postage plus international postage, handling and other fees.
Import charges are a separate estimated amount confirmed at checkout. That split matters for single cards and bundles. Two listings with the same card price can have very different delivered costs.
Why "Free" import charges still need a checkout check
Some eBay imported listings show "Import charges: Free." eBay UK still separates that import line from postage and says the amount is confirmed at checkout. So "Free" is not part of the item price.
It is a zero amount on a separate import line. Always open checkout before buying. Verify the postage line and the import-charges line show the expected amounts.
How Cardmarket handles shipping
On Cardmarket, shipping costs are not included in the card price. Cardmarket's Help says the system sets shipping by origin country, destination country, weight and dimensions using national postal services unless stated otherwise, as explained in Cardmarket's shipping-costs guide. That system price covers carriage under the stated method.
It does not turn the card price into a delivered price. Check the seller's shipping terms on the offer page. Look for a different stated method, tracked upgrades, or combined-shipping rules for multi-card orders.
What US and British rules add to the parcel
For US buyers, the $800 duty-free de minimis exemption was suspended effective August 29, 2025. The U.S. CBP factsheet says even low-value imported singles and boxes can now incur duties requiring formal entry, as stated in the CBP de minimis factsheet.
For Great Britain buyers, GOV.UK says goods sent from abroad may incur VAT and, above thresholds, Customs Duty payable to the delivery company. Duty generally applies to consignments over £135 while VAT applies more broadly, according to the GOV.UK goods-from-abroad guide. A sub-£135 order may receive customs-duty relief but still owes import VAT on the full value including postage and packaging. A "no duty" parcel is therefore not tax-free.
How do you compare listings fairly?
Use the checkout total, not the headline card price. Include shipping plus the import-charges line for each competing offer. A cheaper card with costly postage and import fees often loses to a higher-priced domestic card with low postage.
- Open each listing to checkout and record item price, shipping, and import charges.
- Compare identical conditions: same cards, quantity, condition, and delivery speed.
- Treat "duties/taxes prepaid" or "free" import charges as valid only when shown on the checkout lines.
- Keep the delivery-company tax bill in mind for orders where tax is collected after shipment.
