Poke Ball SWSH146 Pokemon Promo: Did Anniversary Attention Change Its Price Floor?

Anniversary attention has not lifted raw Poke Ball SWSH146 out of the $20s–$30s. The card is the gold Poke Ball Item promo from the Celebrations Ultra-Premium Collection, and PriceCharting reports recent raw sales at $22.28 and $39.00 recent Celebrations sales data. The Pokemon Company launched the Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion on Sept.

16, 2026. Each booster draws on 30 returning classic cards plus one of 30 Pikachu rares. Poke Pursuit TCG priced Sword and Shield Promo SWSH146 at $31 in week W33 of August 2026, up 20.6% over seven days and 23.5% over 30 days.

What is SWSH146?

Poke Ball SWSH146 is a gold treatment of the Poke Ball Item card. Item cards are Trainer cards that give a one-time in-game effect. Promo numbering means it was distributed outside booster packs.

The Pokemon Company included it in the Celebrations Ultra-Premium Collection released Oct. 22, 2021 to mark the 25th anniversary, according to the company fact sheet June 2021 Celebrations fact sheet. That sealed-collection origin matters because loose singles now trade alongside intact sealed copies.

Where is the raw floor now?

Raw near-mint copies anchor the low end. PriceCharting shows a Sept. 26, 2026 TCGPlayer near-mint sale at $39.00 alongside an eBay sale at $22.28. That spread puts the practical raw floor in the $20s–$30s.

Momentum picked up during 30th-anniversary buildup without breaking that range. The TCGplayer Seller Blog listed the Celebrations Ultra-Premium Collection promo at a $42.90 market price on Sept. 1, 2026 September price trends post. Poke Pursuit TCG recorded the August bounce to $31, but asking prices above $40 still exceed several completed raw sales.

Why does graded pricing look so different?

Graded copies trade in a separate tier. PriceCharting lists $35.02 ungraded, $36.36 for Grade 9, and $250.00 for PSA 10. PSA 10 means a grading company judged the card gem mint.

PokeInvest reports the same split at $35 raw and $250 PSA 10. The $215 gross spread must cover $15–$50 grading fees plus shipping, wait time, and downgrade risk. A Grade 9 result therefore leaves little gain over selling raw.

How should buyers compare listings?

Blended averages can mislead. Sports Card Investor notes aggregators mix eBay and TCGPlayer sales across conditions, grades, and sealed versus loose copies.

That mix does not prove anniversary news caused any floor change. Use the card number as a starting filter, then narrow the match: Check sale date, condition, and sealed status before bidding.

  • Select raw near-mint sold listings for the floor, not active asking prices.
  • Compare PSA 9 and PSA 10 separately because the premium jumps near the top grade.
  • Confirm sealed status because the same number covers loose singles and collection promos.
