About Wigglytuff (Jungle No Symbol)
Stage 1 Colorless final evolution. Lullaby attack puts the opponent to sleep — useful for board control. Has a famous “red Wigglytuff vs green” cheek-color variant.
Jungle No Symbol is the famous early-print error variant. Wizards of the Coast printed the first wave of Jungle Unlimited without the palm-tree set symbol on the lower-right of the artwork — an oversight that was corrected for subsequent print runs. These error cards are scarcer than regular Jungle Unlimited and command a meaningful premium. The Jungle No Symbol variant is analogous to Base Set Shadowless: a transitional error print that’s now highly collectible.
How to identify a No Symbol Wigglytuff:
- No set symbol on the lower-right of the artwork box (where the palm tree should be)
- No “Edition 1” stamp on the lower-left
- Otherwise identical to regular Jungle Unlimited
- Often listed as “Jungle No Set Symbol” or “Jungle Error” on eBay
