Pokémon Forest is a nature-themed area featuring a 500-meter walking trail through hills, grass, and tunnels where visitors can observe life-sized statues and displays of over 600 Pokémon, including some that are not native to Kanto, reflecting the diversity seen in recent games. The forest aims to simulate Pokémon habitats, allowing guests to feel as if they are exploring the natural environments where Pokémon live. Some Pokémon in this zone will even be rideable, adding an interactive element to the experience. Sedge Town, on the other hand, is a semi-recreation of various towns from the Pokémon games, complete with a game-accurate Pokémon Center at its entrance. This zone offers exclusive merchandise shops, food and drink options, and several attractions. Notable features include the “Pika Pika Paradise,” a Pikachu-themed ride, and the “Vee Vee Voyage,” an Eevee merry-go-round. Sedge Town also hosts parades featuring Pikachu and Eevee, as well as live stage shows at the “Sedge Electric Gym,” where visitors can enjoy performances inspired by the Pokémon universe. The gym includes a stage show with dancing Pikachu, reminiscent of the lively entertainment found in the games and anime.
Tickets for PokéPark KANTO will be available starting November 21, 2025, through a lottery system typical of Japanese attractions. There are different ticket options: the “Ace Trainer’s Pass” grants unlimited access to both Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town, priority access to attractions, and reserved seating for the gym shows; the regular “Trainer’s Pass” offers unlimited access to Sedge Town and timed entry to Pokémon Forest; and a more limited ticket allows access only to Sedge Town. All passes also include admission to the main Yomiuriland amusement park.
The park’s creation reflects The Pokémon Company’s effort to expand the Pokémon experience beyond video games and television shows into a physical, interactive environment where fans can engage with the franchise in new ways.
